I remember as a child reading ‘The story of
Ferdinand’, a 1936 book that tells the story of a
Spanish Bull who would rather smell flowers than
fight in bullfights. I hope this sculpture captures
something of that spirit.
He is made in 316 – marine grade stainless steel,
on an integrated stainless steel plinth which is
suitable for showing inside or outside.
The plinth is 100cm tall x 30cm x 30cm,
and the El Toro head is 40cm x 40cm x 40cm.
