Michelle Pearson Cooper studied with Signorina Simi in Florence and went on to have
her first solo exhibition at the age of 21 in Bond Street, London. The Osborne Studio
Gallery sold two of her early equestrian paintings a year later, since then she has had 16
solo shows, including in Palm Beach, Marrakech and Dubai.
She mainly draws in charcoal and cheetah’s are one of her well loved subjects such as
the one hanging in this exhibition. She also paints in oils and watercolours, receiving
commissions from all over the world.
Michelle will be showing her work with us (OSG) in October this year, her exhibition
‘Khusela’ in Xhosa means ‘Protect’ which will focus on capturing the tribes people and
wildlife of South Africa.
