Georgea Blakey is a British portrait artist,
specialising in equestrian and animal subjects.
Over the course of her career, she has featured in
publications such as Horse & Hound, The Field and
The Mail on Sunday. She has taken on an assortment
of commissions ranging from intimate portraits
to large-scale murals for high-profile and celebrity
clients including Mike Azzaro, 10 goal American
polo player, Memo Gracida, 10 goal Mexican polo
player, HRH Sultan of Pahang and Viscount and
Viscountess Cowdray.
Her commissions have taken her from
English country houses to the wilderness reserves of
South Africa and the polo farms of Argentina and
Palm Beach.
Blakey has also painted HRH King Charles
with his polo pony, a portrait commissioned by The
Lord’s Taverners Cricket Society and auctioned for
charity to the winning bidder, Sir Tim Rice.
