Should painting and poetry collide it would be in the work of Garry Pereira. His paintings are romantic images of the stunning landscapes and remote shores of the British Isles to which he has skilfully added his own magic ingredients. The result, brilliant captivating works. He paints in situ, small oil paintings on panels, little gems in their own right; the larger panelled studies are then developed in his studio in Norfolk.
This current exhibition of his most recent work depicts Pereira's interest in the well-defined seasons of these islands. The results are magnificent, highly evocative paintings that are a feast for the eyes!
